Easy Coleslaw

This really is an easy coleslaw recipe. With just a handful of ingredients, this slaw is a light and refreshing addition to any table.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Teaspoons Red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Dry mustard powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Mayo
  • 6-8 Cups Finely shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 Cup Grated Carrots

Instructions
 

  • Grate a head of cabbage. I use the grater attachment to my stand mixer, but you can also use a cheese grater if you have the patience.
  • Grate 1/4 cup of carrots.
  • Mix together the vinegar, sugar, mustard powder, salt, and mayo. This is your dressing.
  • In a large bowl, add your cabbage, carrots, and dressing, then mix together well.
  • Refrigerate.

Notes

This coleslaw is one of those recipes that gets better when it sits in the fridge overnight. You can even make it a couple of days in advance for maximum flavor.
